Terraria - Day Theme
so i couldn’t find a terraria town tune so i made one. it’s the first few notes from the terraria theme.
feel free to use it in your town or whatever.
1) The spheal fortress in the sky. Not really much of a fortress, but it’s a cute spawn point so hey.
2) The spheal bubble in the giant pool. That’s also where the lava bubbles are.
More or less copied straight from official sprites, but ya.

So, most everyone that’s played Minecraft knows about the Herobrine joke. Hahaha, yeah, an alternate characte running around the world, building things, and just generally being creepy through exsistance. “Notch’s Brother”.. silly; or so I thought. I’m generally a very down to earth, skeptical fellow. I don’t believe in ghosts, demons, any of that stuff — I want cold hard facts, evidence. That being said, I really can’t explain what’s been hapenning to me in Terraria. I’m HOPING it’s just someone messing with me..
I was playing my world. It’s one of the first ones I started, but I abandoned it about halfway through. I didn’t delete the character, I just started a new one, and crafted a new world. I was going to do things right. The world played normally; everything was fine. After I finished getting the Molten items/armor, I decided to go back to my original world, and rebuild it. Sort of a “tribute” to what my world should’ve been, had I had more experience and knowledge.
When I booted up the world, it was at late evening (in-game time). I started tearing down the old building (it was so pathetic - I had teeny tiny rooms, and only managed to get the guide, and the merchant to move in!) and saw “A horrible chill goes down your spine…” Odd. Don’t you only get those when you smash shadow orbs? Meh. A few minutes later, as night approached, “The blood moon is rising….” So it was all related, I assumed. I continued tearing down the building, shrugging off the Zombies and Demon eyes. I was far too well equipped; they couldn’t harm me, and I didn’t feel like hiding out until daylight.
Instead of working on comic this weekend, my boyfriend and I spent 37 hours on a brand-new Terraria game file with brand-new characters, getting back into the game in preparation for the upcoming major update. This world-turtle house was one of our many creations.
Cool features:
- The ocean biome has a jellyfish spawner hooked up to a timer so it’s constantly full of cute jellies.
- Far right upper biome has 49 meteorite placed, and a chest containing 1 meteorite for easy meteor biome creation.
- Turtle’s eye is Demonite so it glows at night.
- The house is kind of empty right now but we’ll fill it up eventually.
I haven’t allowed myself do all-out, 12-hour-stretches gaming like this for at least a year and DAMN it felt good.
We are pleased to announce that Terraria will be coming soon to phones and tablets! Terraria for mobile platforms will support leader boards, achievements and Facebook integration so you can share screenshots of your adventures and creations. In development by Codeglue, Terraria for phones and tablets will be available starting this summer.

Yaay, Terraria! This is actually a more recent drawing. :D I think I’ll post up a few more random sketches after this.
